AIIMS conducted its MBBS exam on May 29th, 2016 for admission to 7 AIIMS in India for 672 MBBS seats of which 73 are under AIIMS Delhi, the most reputed and sought after medical college in India.
A total of 154 centres around the country held the exam in morning-evening shifts.
Physics & Chemistry subjects were reported to be tougher compared to Biology and General Knowledge sections of the test.
Many candidates reported that Physics was the toughest section with both numerical and theoretical questions being of difficult level.
Ajay Gupta from Delhi said that numerical questions from the Physics section were lengthy and time consuming and stumped him many times during the exam. He added that General Knowledge was quite easy and consumed the least amount of time.
Shefali, a candidate from Haryana also echoed the sentiment of Physics being very tough and numerical questions taking a lot of time. She added that Biology was a cakewalk and was easier than she expected it would be.

Education experts say that whilst Physics was indeed the toughest section this year, the exam was easier compared to previous years’ test.
Mr. Harinder Chadda, a teacher from Chandigarh said that AIIMS 2016 MBBS exam was of high difficulty level with Physics and Chemistry sections especially difficult and lengthy. But he argued that AIIMS exams have always been tough and this year was no different.
Mr. Chadda said the ease of Biology and General Knowledge sections was surprising.
AIIMS MBBS 2016 result will be declared on June 14, 2016 on their website where the names and roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be published.
