What to expect from NEET Phase 2

With the NEET Phase 2 exam just a few weeks away, its’ a do or die situation for the aspirants since the competition level is really high.

The NEET exam which went through a lot of controversies in the past few months has left a lot of uncertainties in the minds of the aspirants pertaining to the expected difficulty level of NEET Phase 2.

Expected Level of Difficulty of NEET 2

As per the Experts judgements and views,

  • NEET 2 will be of more or less the same difficulty level as NEET 1 and AIPMT 2015 and 2014 though there has been slight variation in the difficulty level of the exam over different years.
  • Since NEET has gained the status of a National-level exam, it is expected that questions in the exam will be balanced. The questions will be framed considering all categories of candidates (Average,Bright,etc).
  • Experts analysis suggest that the difficulty level of Physics section has been high over the previous years while Biology has been slightly tough over the last two years.
  • Chemistry has been easier in AIPMT 2015 but slightly tough in NEET 1.


Tips to Prepare for NEET 2 Under 1 Month 

Experts have suggested guidelines which the aspirants must follow to prepare under 1 month:

  • Thoroughly study the NCERT books for attaining conceptual clarity especially for Biology and Inorganic Chemistry
  • For Physics, you must revise all the concepts first and learn how to apply the concepts to different situations. Candidates should refer to good quality competition books and solve a variety of Numerical problems.
  • For Chemistry,revise Organic and Physical chemistry thoroughly and at last advance to Inorganic Chemistry.
  • Aspirants must emphasize on preparing Biology section since it carries 50% of the weight age and is more than enough to make a difference.
  • Revise the theoretical part by assigning a 2-2 hours slot to each subject.
