The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a National level exam conducted for admission  to UG Medical courses in Medical Institutes across India.

The exam is expected to be conducted in the 1st week of May.

NEET UG 2017:Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the NEET UG 2017 has been listed below:

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

  • Candidates must have an age of at least 17 years on 31st December 2017. The upper age limit for the General Category is 25 years and 30 years for SC/ST candidates.

  • Candidates must have passed 12th standard or any other equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as Main subjects.

  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCB for general category candidates and 45% (General PH) and 40% for SC/ST/OBC

NEET UG 2017: Application Procedure

As per the tentative schedule, the Application form is expected to be released in the 2nd week of December.

Candidates will have to fill the application form in the online mode.

The steps to fill the Online Application Form are listed below:

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website and fill the online application form.

  • Candidates must fill the application form in accordance with the Instructions.

  • Candidates are required to upload the photograph, signature and right-hand index figure impression.

After successfully filling the form and submitting the fee, candidates are required to send the confirmation page along with other along with the other necessary documents to The Assistant Secretary (NEET), CBSE.

Candidates are required to submit the application fee either through the online mode

(Using Credit/Debit Card) or offline (Bank Challan) Mode.
