NEET 2016 Results : Het Shah tops, Over 4 lakh pass the exam

The much-anticipated result of NEET I and NEET II have been finally announced by the CBSE on 16th August.

Het Shah from Gujarat has emerged as the Topper while Ekansh Goyal and Nikhil Bajiya have bagged the AIR 2 and AIR 3 respectively. Het Shah secured 685 out of 720 marks to grab the first position.

While Het Shah managed to secure AIR 4 in AIIMS, Ekansh Goyal bagged AIR 9 and Nikhil Bajiya secured AIR 2 in AIIMS.

All the three top rankers were students of Allen Career Institute, Kota.

As many as 6 lakh candidates appeared in NEET I while 4,75,000 took NEET II.

Official sources reveal that as many as 4,10,661 candidates have qualified the prestigious examination.

  • Candidates are required to log on to the official website.

  • Next candidates should click on the ‘NEET Result’ link

  • After clicking on to the link, a screen will be displayed where the candidates are required to enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth.

  • After entering the above-listed information, the result will be displayed on the screen.

The main counselling and registrations are scheduled between August 22 and August 25. The Seat Allotment is scheduled on August 27 and Seat Acceptance/Admissions are scheduled between August 28 and September 3.

The Second Round of Seat Allotment is scheduled on September 11.
