The notices were sent in response to a PIL filed by Rajasthan resident Anshul Sharma demanding cancellation on the grounds that the question paper was allegedly leaked a day prior to the exam.
The petition stated that 44 examinees had received the question papers along with the answer keys on the night of July 22 in exchange for a large sum of money.
Early on July 23rd, the Nainital Police had seized a group of 5 people who were allegedly leaking the question paper and three of them were arrested from a resort at Dhikuli near Ramnagar.
