Examination will be conducted on May 1, 2016 for admission to MBBS and BDS bachelor degrees in the medical institutes of India except in Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana.
The mode of examination will be in pen & paper at various exam centres across India. CBSE is the body in-charge for the conduction of AIPMT examination throughout the nation for 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges.
AIPMT 2016 Result –
CBSE will announce the results for the AIPMT exam on or before June 5, 2016. Result marks will be declared only for the qualifying students. The minimum qualifying marks or the cut off marks for AIPMT 2016 examination is 50% for candidates belonging to general category. Merit list will be prepared for the qualifying candidates purely based on the obtained scores.

MCC will conduct the counselling of the qualifying candidates for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota. Online counselling will be conducted in three rounds tentatively in the month of July or August.
