GATE 2017 EC Session 1: Detailed Exam Analysis

Session 1 exam was more conceptual Questions from Engineering Mathematics, Digital Circuits and Electronic Devices & Circuits were slightly on the difficult side while the rest of the exam was ranging between Easy to Moderate. Weight Age of Digital Circuits, Signals & Systems and Control system has increased in comparison to previous years while that of Communications, Network Theory and Electro Magnetics has came down.

GATE 2017 EC Session 2: Detailed Exam Analysis

The Afternoon session analysis revealed that 80% of the questions were similar to or based on the problems asked in GATE 2016. Overall level of the afternoon session was ‘Easy’.

Weight Age of Networks and EMT have come down in comparison to previous years while that of Signals & Systems has increased.
