JEE MAIN 2016 Merit list will be out on or before 27th April 2016.

The exam conducting body (Central Board of Secondary Education) will announce the JEE Main 2016 Rank List very soon. The results will be published online in the official site. Result will be announced only for the candidates who will clear the cut off marks set by the CBSE as qualifying marks. Only these candidates will be allowed to appear and write the JEE Advanced 2016 Examination.

CBSE JEE MAIN 2016 MERIT LIST

JEE MAINS Merit list is prepared by combining the marks of both JEE MAIN Paper and 12th Class Marks in a ratio of 60% to 40% respectively. If this combined marks together clear the cut off only then the All India Rank is decided and published. This year the Roll No and the date of birth of the toppers will not be published publically for privacy reasons.

However, All India Rank of the qualifying students will be published soon after the declaration of results and the JEE MAIN 2016 merit list. Based on the JEE MAIN Result candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination of JEE Advanced 2016.
